This Refund Policy explains the terms that apply to paid subscriptions purchased through app.janeisha, including cancellations, renewals, refund requests, billing errors, and related payment matters.
By purchasing a paid subscription through the Application, you agree to this Refund Policy and the applicable Terms and Conditions.
The Application may offer paid subscription plans that provide access to curated college scholarship matches, additional scholarship database access, and other subscription-based features.
The price, billing period, and features associated with your selected plan will be presented before purchase. Subscription fees are charged to the payment method provided during checkout.
Access to paid features begins after successful payment or confirmation of an active subscription. Prices and subscription features may change from time to time, subject to applicable notice requirements.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated at the time of purchase, subscription payments are generally non-refundable once the applicable billing period has begun.
Refunds are not ordinarily provided because you did not use the Application, did not use all available scholarship matches or features, changed your mind, missed a scholarship deadline, found an opportunity elsewhere, or did not receive a scholarship award.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any refund, cancellation right, or other remedy that must be provided under applicable law.
If you believe you are eligible for a refund, you may submit a request through the contact methods provided below. A refund request should identify the account and transaction involved and explain the reason for the request.
We may request additional information reasonably necessary to locate the transaction, verify the account, and evaluate the request. Please do not send full payment card numbers or other unnecessary financial information.
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved. Requests will be considered according to this Refund Policy, the circumstances of the transaction, and applicable law.
You may cancel a paid subscription through the cancellation method available within your account or by contacting us where account-based cancellation is unavailable.
Cancellation prevents future renewal charges. Unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law, canceling a subscription does not result in a refund for the current billing period, and paid access may continue until that period ends.
To prevent another renewal charge, your cancellation must be completed before the applicable renewal date.
Where a subscription renews automatically, the applicable billing and renewal terms will be presented in connection with your subscription purchase.
Unless you cancel before the applicable renewal date, your payment method may be charged for the next billing period in accordance with the subscription terms presented at purchase.
Canceling after a renewal payment has been processed does not automatically create a right to a refund. Any refund request relating to a renewal charge will be handled according to this Refund Policy and applicable law.
If the Application allows you to upgrade, downgrade, or otherwise change your subscription, any resulting price, billing adjustment, or effective date will be presented when the change is made.
Plan changes do not automatically create a right to a refund or credit for amounts previously paid unless such an adjustment is expressly offered or required by applicable law.
Access to features following a plan change may depend on the effective date of that change and the subscription terms presented through the Application.
A paid subscription provides access to the Application features associated with your selected plan. Payment does not guarantee eligibility for, selection for, or receipt of any college scholarship or particular amount of college funding.
Scholarship providers independently establish their eligibility requirements, deadlines, application requirements, selection criteria, award amounts, and recipient decisions. Janeisha Cambridge does not control those decisions.
A scholarship listing or curated match does not guarantee that you satisfy every requirement or will receive an award. Scholarship outcomes therefore do not, by themselves, create eligibility for a refund.
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, charged more than once for the same subscription period, or charged after properly canceling before renewal, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
If you believe a charge was made without your authorization, please contact us and your applicable bank, card issuer, or financial institution. Additional verification may be required when investigating an unauthorized transaction.
If a billing error attributable to the Application is confirmed, appropriate action will be taken based on the circumstances, applicable payment processing requirements, and applicable law.
The Application may occasionally offer promotional pricing, discounts, trials, or other subscription offers. Additional terms applicable to a particular promotion may be presented when the offer is made.
Unless otherwise stated, a promotion or later reduction in price does not create a right to a refund, credit, or retroactive price adjustment for a subscription purchased before the promotion became available.
Eligibility, duration, renewal pricing, and other conditions associated with promotional offers may vary and will be governed by the terms presented with the applicable offer.
Closing or deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription unless the Application expressly indicates otherwise. You should cancel an active paid subscription using the applicable cancellation method before closing your account.
Closing an account does not automatically create a right to a refund for subscription fees already paid. Any applicable refund rights provided by law remain unaffected.
If access to the Application is suspended or terminated because of fraud, misuse, unauthorized activity, or a violation of the Terms and Conditions, previously paid subscription fees may remain non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Payments may be processed through a third-party payment processor. The payment processor may collect and process payment information necessary to complete, secure, or refund a transaction according to its own terms and privacy practices.
Where a refund is approved, it will generally be returned to the payment method used for the applicable transaction, unless another method is required or permitted under the circumstances.
The time required for an approved refund to appear may depend on the payment processor, bank, card issuer, or other financial institution involved. External processing times may be outside our direct control.
We may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in subscription practices, Application features, payment processing arrangements, business practices, or applicable legal requirements.
When changes are made, the revised Refund Policy will be made available through the Application or another appropriate location, and the “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly.
Changes to this Refund Policy will apply subject to applicable law and any rights associated with an existing subscription. Where additional notice is legally required, the applicable notice will be provided.
